Goldthorn Park have entered the ‘Paint a Poppy Challenge’ run by the SAA and the British Legion. This has proved to be a fantastic way for us to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One, as well as displaying the progression of art skills taught across the school with a range of high quality children’s artwork.
Each year group created a beautiful, bright display of poppy paintings and drawings. These are now displayed in our Key Stage Two building.

Goldthorn Primary School celebrated Harvest Festival with an assembly by Mr Rawlinson giving thanks for the food we are lucky enough to eat. We had super donations from our families to give to the Good Shepherd Ministry and the House Captains helped load the donated food on to the van.
