Children from Year 5 and 6 were thrilled to be celebrating World Book Day with best-selling children’s author Dame Jacqueline Wilson! As one of Britain’s best-selling and most beloved children’s authors, she has written more than 100 books, selling more than 40 million copies worldwide. The event was extra special, as it marked the release date of her latest book. ‘The Girl Who Wasn’t There’. Jacqueline shared her journey with the children and they were in awe. She even took questions, which our children loved!
Qaali from Year 5 shared, "It was spectacular! I've never met an author before and I got to ask her a question. She was excited to talk to us!"
