They offer impartial information, advice and support about:
  • Education, health and social care matters and relevant law

  • Support available in schools, early years and post 16 settings

  • Funding arrangements

  • How needs are identified and met 

 

Their team can offer individual support which may include:
  • Support at and preparing for meetings

  • Help to understand and complete processes and procedures

  • Help to participate in discussions and decision making

  • Liaising with services and organisations

  • Looking at positive outcomes

Cherry Street SEND and Sensory Hub offers a range of services to support families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include access to the SEND Early Identification and Support Service parent/carer offer, specialist health visitors, SEND stay & play, SEND surgeries and advice, parenting groups and family support.

The City of Wolverhampton Council’s Educational Psychology Service is offering a free remote consultation service to parents/carers living in Wolverhampton.
