Throughout the school year, our students have numerous opportunities to enhance their learning.


Year 5 STEM Workshops
The Year 5 girls had an inspiring day at Wolverhampton Girls’ School, where they immersed themselves in a range of hands‑on STEM workshops. The girls took part in a variety of workshops including computer science, experimenting with programming and exploring how technology shapes the world around them. They also, took part in a Design & Technology workshop, they took on the challenge of building a sturdy structure using only spaghetti and elastic bands, testing their engineer


Year 4 Roman Day
As part of our topic, You’re Not Invited , Year 4 brought history to life through an exciting workshop led by Humph’s Histories. The children learned several Latin phrases and discovered where key Roman events fit within British history. They examined a variety of weapons, armour and other historical sources to deepen their understanding of the past. Spring Production - Dragon Days!
What an incredible performance Years 3 and 4 put on in their spring production of Dragon Days ! The children have worked so hard over the past weeks, and it truly showed on stage—their singing, acting, and confidence were fantastic, and the whole show wouldn’t have been out of place on a West End stage. They were absolutely amazing, and we are so proud of each and every one of them for creating such a memorable performance.


Role Play in Nursery!
We had a fabulous time taking part in our ‘pop up role play visit’. We explored in the dinosaur area, posted parcels at the post office, practiced different hair styles on dolls, became vets for the day, put out fires at the fire station and looked after each other at the doctors. It was such a lovely experience for the children, and we really hope that they enjoyed it.


Pen Pal Excitment!
Year 4 were so excited to receive their letters from their Italian pen pals. It was wonderful to see the care and attention with which they opened and read their letter, truly appreciating the time and effort that had gone into them. The drawings and stickers were a particular highlight, bringing big smiles all around. The children are already eagerly looking forward to writing their replies!


Year 5 and 6 STEM Challenge
Children in Years 5 and 6 took part in an inspiring, hands‑on STEM workshop led by aerospace experts from Safran. Throughout the day, children stepped into the role of real engineers, applying their knowledge of forces, design, problem‑solving and teamwork across a series of exciting challenges. One of the activities during the workshop was the marshmallow‑and‑spaghetti tower task, where pupils had to think carefully about structure, stability and height as they experimented


Friendship Workshop in Year 5
The Reflexions Team recently visited our Year 5 pupils to deliver an engaging and thoughtful workshop focused on friendships and mental health. Throughout the session, children explored the importance of setting healthy boundaries, learned practical techniques to support their wellbeing, and discussed the qualities that make a good friend. Learning About Eid
As part of our Eid assembly, both KS1 and KS2 learned about how this festival is celebrated within Muslim families locally, nationally, and globally. Pupils listened respectfully, asked thoughtful questions, and reflected on the significance of Eid, including themes of new beginnings, forgiveness, and personal growth.


Year 2 Develop Artisitic Skills
After their visit to the Black Counrty Living Museum the children had a follow-up session with a member of staff from museum. During this visit, they continued their learning about foreground, midground and background. The children used these skills to create their own piece of artwork, designing a scene inspired by the Black Country.
