Day of Welcome in Reception!

Reception had a wonderful Day of Welcome as part of Refugee Week. The children talked about our differences and how we can help everyone feel welcome, valued and included. They took part in our whole-school rainbow celebration by wearing rainbow colours and joining the rest of the school to create a giant rainbow on the playground.

To continue the theme, the children created their own colourful rainbow artwork, celebrating kindness, friendship and the importance of making everyone feel they belong. It was a lovely day of learning, creativity and togetherness.
