Children In Need 2025
Thank you to our School Council for organising a fantastic Children in Need day! They planned three exciting activities to help raise money for this amazing charity. Children and staff came dressed as superheroes or in something yellow or spotty. This year’s theme was ‘Challenge 25’, and throughout the week pupils were encouraged to take on a fun challenge linked to the number 25—such as doing 25 star jumps each day, reading for 25 minutes, completing 25 kind acts, or even wr

Bonfire Day!
Across school we have been learning about Bonfire Day and why it is a key Historical event in British History. We focused on Guy Fawkes and learnt about the Gunpowder Plot and why he is such a significant Historical figure. We added this to our class timelines to identify when in History this key event took place. We enjoyed then using this learning to create Bonfire pictures using different media. Year 3 children delved into an exciting extract from You Wouldn’t Want to Be

Anti-Bullying Week 2025 – Kindness Agreements

The children shared wonderful ideas about how small acts of kindness can make a big difference — showing that at our school, kindness really does matter every day. Use the

Odd Socks Day!
Today our school was full of colour, fun, and LOTS of odd socks as we celebrated Odd Socks Day 2025 to kick off Anti-Bullying Week! Everyone joined in – pupils and teachers came to school wearing bright, bold, spotty, stripy, and wonderfully mismatched socks. Odd Socks Day is all about celebrating what makes us unique. It reminds us that being different is something to be proud of – because that’s what makes our school such a special place. We also talked about the importance

A Day of Light, Colour, and Joy: Our Diwali Celebration
Our school was filled with colour, music, and excitement as we celebrated Diwali – the Festival of Lights! Some of our children came dressed in beautiful traditional costumes, bringing a vibrant splash of culture to the day. The sounds of the dhol drums echoed through the school as children joined in the rhythms. Creative hands were busy making clay diva lamps, Diwali cards, and stunning rangoli patterns using bright colours and designs. It was a wonderful celebration that he
