What a fantastic Red Nose Day we had! The whole school was buzzing with laughter, colour, and pure, joyful silliness. Children (and plenty of adults!) arrived dressed in all sorts of brilliant outfits — from bright red clothes to wild hair, wacky socks, and even full-on silly costumes. We had guests who represented different jobs and careers in school, to help our children understand how school skills connect to real life and to build curiosity and confidence about their future. Today children are celebrating Mărțișor, a traditional spring festival widely observed in Romania. Children’s Mental Health Week provides an important chance to reflect on how we all look after our mental and emotional health. Across school we have been learning about Bonfire Day and why it is a key Historical event in British History.  We focused on Guy Fawkes and learnt about the Gunpowder Plot and why he is such a significant Historical figure.
