Year 1 Road Safety
Our Year 1 children enjoyed meeting Rosalind this morning and learning about road safety. They listened carefully about how to stay safe on the road. They were reminded how they need to stop, look and listen and recognise safe places to cross.

Year 2 Road Safety
This month, Goldthorn Park is proudly taking part in Walk to School Month! We’re encouraging all children to stay active by walking to school whenever possible. To support this initiative, Year 2 have taken part in a road safety session with our school crossing patrol, helping them learn how to stay safe while walking near and crossing roads.

Road Safety in Reception
Reception children had a special visit from a road safety officer! They learned important tips on how to cross the road safely and practiced them with lots of enthusiasm. To make learning even more fun, the officer also taught the children a catchy road safety song, helping them remember the key rules while singing along. It was a fantastic, interactive session that combined learning with fun, helping our children stay safe on their way to and from school.

Fire Safety in Year 4

PCSO Visit to Year 4
Our Year 4 children had an important visit from our Police Community Support Officer (PCSO), who spoke to them about bullying and how to stay safe. Year 5 STEM Workshops
The Year 5 girls had an inspiring day at Wolverhampton Girls’ School, where they immersed themselves in a range of hands‑on STEM workshops. Year 4 Roman Day

Spring Production - Dragon Days!
What an incredible performance Years 3 and 4 put on in their spring production of Dragon Days ! The children have worked so hard over the past weeks, and it truly showed on stage—their singing, acting, and confidence were fantastic, and the whole show wouldn’t have been out of place on a West End stage. Role Play in Nursery!
We had a fabulous time taking part in our ‘pop up role play visit’. We explored in the dinosaur area, posted parcels at the post office, practiced different hair styles on dolls, became vets for the day, put out fires at the fire station and looked after each other at the doctors. It was such a lovely experience for the children, and we really hope that they enjoyed it.

Pen Pal Excitment!
Year 4 were so excited to receive their letters from their Italian pen pals. It was wonderful to see the care and attention with which they opened and read their letter, truly appreciating the time and effort that had gone into them. Year 5 and 6 STEM Challenge
Children in Years 5 and 6 took part in an inspiring, hands‑on STEM workshop led by aerospace experts from Safran. Year 2 Develop Artisitic Skills
After their visit to the Black Counrty Living Museum the children had a follow-up session with a member of staff from museum. Art Adventures at the Black Country Museum!
During Year 2's visit to the Black Country Living Museum, we focused on Art and Design. The children learned how artists use the foreground, midground and background to make their pictures look interesting and full of depth. Special Duckling Visitors in Reception
Reception have been very excited to welcome the ducklings into their classroom. The children have loved watching them and learning about how to care for them. They have handled the ducklings very gently and shown great care and responsibility while holding them. Year 1 Visit Our Local Library
Year one walked to our local library to promote our love for reading. We met the librarian and she gave us a tour of the library and shared some stories with us. We joined in with the actions and made a mask based on the 'Super Wolf' story. We can't wait to use our new library memberships to borrow books with our families! CO Crew Visit Year 2 and Year 5
