Year 1 Royal Garden Party
Year 1 celebrated the end of their topic ‘Royal Patrons’ by taking part in a Royal Garden Party. The children wore red, white and blue and invited a special guest to their party, their favourite teddy! They completed their learning about Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II, designed and made their own crowns in the morning. Singing in the Halls
Our Year 5/6 Choir had an incredible time singing and dancing at the Singing in the Halls event this year at the Civic Halls. Singing a range of songs from Queen, Panic at the Disco, Taylor Swift, Myles Swift, A-ha, The Script, Tina Turner and Ben E. King the children gave a sterling performance and represented our school wonderfully. Rainforest Roadshow Brings Learning to Life

Year 3 Dance Lessons

This month, Goldthorn Park is proudly taking part in Walk to School Month! We’re encouraging all children to stay active by walking to school whenever possible. To support this initiative, Year 2 have taken part in a road safety session with our school crossing patrol, helping them learn how to stay safe while walking near and crossing roads.

Road Safety in Reception
Reception children had a special visit from a road safety officer! They learned important tips on how to cross the road safely and practiced them with lots of enthusiasm. To make learning even more fun, the officer also taught the children a catchy road safety song, helping them remember the key rules while singing along. Spring Production - Dragon Days!
What an incredible performance Years 3 and 4 put on in their spring production of Dragon Days ! The children have worked so hard over the past weeks, and it truly showed on stage—their singing, acting, and confidence were fantastic, and the whole show wouldn’t have been out of place on a West End stage. Role Play in Nursery!
We had a fabulous time taking part in our ‘pop up role play visit’. We explored in the dinosaur area, posted parcels at the post office, practiced different hair styles on dolls, became vets for the day, put out fires at the fire station and looked after each other at the doctors. It was such a lovely experience for the children, and we really hope that they enjoyed it.
