Celebrating Vaisakhi
The children had an amazing time learning all about the Sikh festival of Vaisakhi today. They took part in a special assembly led by a spiritual visitor, who showed them a range of Sikh artefacts such as the sword (kirpan) and kara, helping to deepen their understanding in a meaningful way. Spring Production - Dragon Days!
What an incredible performance Years 3 and 4 put on in their spring production of Dragon Days ! The children have worked so hard over the past weeks, and it truly showed on stage—their singing, acting, and confidence were fantastic, and the whole show wouldn’t have been out of place on a West End stage. Pen Pal Excitment!
Year 4 were so excited to receive their letters from their Italian pen pals. It was wonderful to see the care and attention with which they opened and read their letter, truly appreciating the time and effort that had gone into them. The drawings and stickers were a particular highlight, bringing big smiles all around. The children are already eagerly looking forward to writing their replies!

Little People, Big Dreams at Grand Central!
As part of our World Book Day celebrations, a group of our Year 3 and 4 children joined lots of other schools at a fantastic event at Grand Central Station in Wolverhampton today. Year 4 Design & Technology

Spotting Birds with the RSPB Big Schools’ Birdwatch!
Twelve Year 3 and 4 children took part in the RSPB Big Schools' Birdwatch with Mr Pryce. We spent 1 hour counting the birds that we could see around our school and we managed a total of 9 different species in that time. By the end, the children were becoming quite skilled and could identify Magpies and Blue Tits as well as see that there were different types of Gulls using our school field. Year 4 Live Space Launch!
On the morning of Tuesday 15th December 2015, at 11.03, Tim Peake launched into space on a Soyuz rocket to spend six months on board the International Space Station. Year 4’s Dudley Canal Adventure
What a wonderful day Year 4 had today visiting Dudley Canal and caverns! The children were tremendously well behaved, and listened attentively. They learnt about the Industrial revolution, the importance of our canal network for trade, took part in a boat ride inside the caverns, undertook workshops, visited a museum on board a boat, and learnt about water safety.

Remembrance Day
We have been learning about Remembrance and taking the time to reflect on sacrifices that were made by soldiers and those affected by war both past and present. We focused on the importance of peace, community and gratitude. We created our own poppies and laid them outside as a symbol of respect. We also created poppy artwork.

A Day of Light, Colour, and Joy: Our Diwali Celebration
Our school was filled with colour, music, and excitement as we celebrated Diwali – the Festival of Lights!
