Year 1 took part in a walk around our local area as part of our Geography 'Unity in the community' topic. We explored different physical and human features whilst remembering how to keep safe in our local environment.

Year 4’s Dudley Canal Adventure

What a wonderful day Year 4 had today visiting Dudley Canal and caverns! The children were tremendously well behaved, and listened attentively. They learnt about the Industrial revolution, the importance of our canal network for trade, took part in a boat ride inside the caverns, undertook workshops, visited a museum on board a boat, and learnt about water safety.

Year 6 Step Back in Time!

Last week, our Year 6 pupils enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Blists Hill Victorian Town as part of their history learning. The children spent the day exploring what life was really like in the Victorian era and were amazed at how different it was from today! During the visit, the children met costumed Victorian characters, visited the old-fashioned bank, bakery, post office, sweet shop and chemist, and discovered how people lived and worked over 100 years ago.
