Year 1 Model Houses

As part of Year 1's Unity in the Community topic, the children have been busy designing and creating their own model houses.

They explored different types of homes in our local community and then designed their own model houses. They experimented with a variety of materials, discovering how they can be cut, shaped and joined in different ways.

To bring their designs to life, the children used a range of junk modelling resources.

We are incredibly proud of their imaginative designs and the effort they put into creating their wonderful model houses!
