Year 5 STEM Workshops

Year 5 and 6 STEM Challenge
Children in Years 5 and 6 took part in an inspiring, hands‑on STEM workshop led by aerospace experts from Safran. Throughout the day, children stepped into the role of real engineers, applying their knowledge of forces, design, problem‑solving and teamwork across a series of exciting challenges. Year 4 Design & Technology
In DT, Year 4 pupils designed and made a prototype bed suitable for a Roman soldier. They explored how structures can be made strong and stable by using a variety of joining techniques. The children demonstrated careful measuring, cutting and assembling skills.

National Storytelling Week - Reception!
We’ve had a wonderful week of learning, which started by taking part in Simon Mole (poet) and Gecko’s (Musician) online learning session by clapping and singing to rhymes about insects. We even had a go at making up our own rhyme and used instruments to the syllables of the words. We have had a great time creating our very own sock puppets into a new character and telling stories about them. We’ve also enjoyed reading for pleasure every day!

Year 1 Model Houses

Poppy Art Installation – Year 6 Creative Learning
