Year 1 Explore Our Local Area

Year 1 went on a local walk. Before the local walk we discussed how to walk safely next to a road, which links into our current PSHE topic. Whilst on the walk, we followed a map to get to our destination, as part of our Geography field work. During our walk we were spotting signs of Autumn, such as red leaves, pine cones, brambles and helicopter leaves, as part of our new Seasons science topic.
