Rainforest Roadshow Brings Learning to Life

Year 4 embarked on an unforgettable Rainforest Roadshow and were transported deep into the heart of the Amazon. The children became fearless explorers as they encountered a range of fascinating rainforest creatures, including a tarantula, a praying mantis and a giant millipede.
To fully immerse ourselves in the experience, the children wore vibrant Amazonian-inspired face paint and created their own rainforest jewellery using traditional patterns and designs. We also investigated a variety of authentic artefacts, learning about the daily lives, culture and traditions of people who live within the rainforest.
The day was filled with hands-on learning, excitement and discovery, helping to bring our topic to life in a truly memorable way. The children showed great curiosity and bravery throughout the experience and learnt so much about the incredible world beneath the rainforest canopy.
