Sharing Stories for Refugee Week

As part of Refugee Week, our younger children enjoyed a wonderful shared reading session with our older pupils. Year 6 spent time reading their favourite stories with Year 1, Year 3 shared books with Nursery, and Reception swapped stories with Year 4 before enjoying a film together. The older children were kind, patient, and nurturing, demonstrating our school values. It was heart-warming to see the children building confidence, forming new friendships, and celebrating the joy of reading together. This special experience reflected the spirit of Refugee Week by bringing our school community together through stories, empathy, and belonging. Well done, everyone – we are so proud of you all!
