PCSO Visit to Year 4

Our Year 4 children had an important visit from our Police Community Support Officer (PCSO), who spoke to them about bullying and how to stay safe.

During the session, pupils explored the effects of bullying on both the person being bullied and the person displaying the bullying behaviour. They discussed how bullying can impact feelings, confidence, and wellbeing, and why it is so important to treat others with kindness and respect.

The children also learned about cyberbullying, including how it can happen online through games, apps, and social media. They talked about the importance of being responsible when using technology and how online actions can affect others.

A key part of the session focused on what to do if they are being bullied or if they see someone else being bullied.
