Goldthorn Park Comes Together for Refugee Week 2025

Last week saw Goldthorn Park taking part in lots of events and activities to mark Refugee Week. The theme of the week was ‘Community as a Superpower’, and how communities can bring people together, bridge divides and move together towards a shared goal.  We took part in ‘Simple Acts’  that allowed us to spend time with one another in our school community, sharing stories, getting active and learning new skills. We shared a feeling of welcome and belonging, listening, learning and laughing together.
