Goldthorn's Winning Half!

Wednesday May 21st

Goldthorn played a  fantastic football match on Wednesday 21st May.  We played  a friendly with one of our trust schools Edward The Elder, 12 players represented our school at Edward the Elder.    We played a 9 a side game with some of our super year 5 and 6 children, the boys proved talent was ripe and held a 3-0 lead after the first half of the game was played.  We saw some fantastic saves from our goalkeeper and outstanding team work amongst the boys, making fantastic passes and listening to instructions given.  Well done Goldthorn Park! 

Unfortunately weather was not on our side and we had to abandon the game at half time due to a risk of thunder and lightning.  We are super proud of our footballers, who represented Goldthorn Park wonderfully.
