Stranger Awareness with PCSO Shinton

We were delighted to welcome PCSO Shinton into school to work with our Year 1 and Year 2 children on Stranger Awareness.

The children learned some important messages about staying safe, recognising situations that may not feel right and knowing what to do if they ever feel worried or unsafe. PCSO Shinton encouraged the children to talk to a trusted adult and reminded them of the importance of making safe choices when out and about.

The children listened carefully, joined in with discussions and had the opportunity to ask questions. It was a valuable and engaging session that helped our children develop their understanding of how to keep themselves safe.
