National Poetry Day in Reception
The children in Reception brought their poem, Woodlouse, to life by pretending to be woodlice themselves! They also went on a woodlouse hunt in our outdoor area, using clues from the poem, such as “damp and dark” and “soggy moss and mouldy leaves”, to help them decide where to look. They had lots of fun searching for woodlice and exploring their outdoor environment!
