We had a wonderful workshop in Reception learning all about gross motor and fine motor skills. The children enjoyed sharing their pencil grip song with their parents whilst showing them how to hold a pencil. Across school we have been learning about Bonfire Day and why it is a key Historical event in British History.  We focused on Guy Fawkes and learnt about the Gunpowder Plot and why he is such a significant Historical figure. We added this to our class timelines to identify when in History this key event took place. We enjoyed then using this learning to create Bonfire pictures using different media.
