Year 6 meet Author Holly Webb

Our Year 6 pupils had a fantastic opportunity this week as they travelled to Wolverhampton Grammar School to meet the much‑loved children’s author Holly Webb. The visit was an inspiring experience for the children, who were excited to hear Holly speak about her writing journey, where her story ideas come from, and how she develops the characters that so many young readers adore.

Holly shared an extract from one of her books, capturing the room with her vivid storytelling. Pupils were eager to ask questions, and Holly’s thoughtful, encouraging answers left many feeling motivated to start crafting stories of their own.

It was a memorable afternoon that brought reading and writing to life, and our pupils returned brimming with inspiration and enthusiasm.
