World Book Day 2026 – “Go All In for Reading!”

We started World Book Day 2026 with a fun and exciting assembly led by our Reading Champions. They talked to us about how important and enjoyable reading can be, and they encouraged everyone to “Go all in” for reading this year!

The Reading Champions explained that reading helps us learn new things, discover amazing stories, and use our imaginations. They reminded us that books can take us anywhere—into space, underwater, into the past, or to magical worlds!

They also challenged everyone to think about how they can “go all in” with their reading. This might mean trying a new book, reading more at home, visiting the library, or sharing recommendations with friends.

The assembly got everyone excited for the rest of World Book Day, and it was a brilliant way to start our celebrations!
