Trust Commonwealth Games

Before the event began, our school proudly took part in the opening ceremony, completing a lap of the athletics track while showcasing our school flag, which was beautifully designed and created by the children.

A fantastic 14 pupils from across the school represented Goldthorn Park at the Trust's Commonwealth Games, held at Aldersley Leisure Village. Throughout the day, they competed with determination, enthusiasm and great sportsmanship in a variety of events, including obstacle races, sprint and long-distance running, egg and spoon races, and relay races.

We are incredibly proud of every child who took part.
