Summer Term 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank You for a Wonderful Year!
As we wrap up another fantastic school year at Goldthorn Park Primary, we want to take a moment to thank all of our parents and carers for your continued support.
This year has been a truly successful one — not only in terms of academic progress, but also in the personal growth we’ve seen in our pupils. From classroom achievements to newfound confidence, resilience, and kindness, we are incredibly proud of how far the children have come.
Your involvement — whether through attending events, supporting learning at home, or simply encouraging your child each day — has played a huge part in making this year so special.
We’d also like to take this opportunity to wish our wonderful Year 6 pupils every success as they move on to secondary school. We are so proud of all they have achieved during their time with us, and we know they will continue to shine in the next stage of their journey.
We are proud to be part of such a strong and supportive school community, and we look forward to building on this year’s successes when we return in September.

Wishing you all a restful, joyful summer break!

Warm regards,
Mrs Purshouse
(Head Teacher)
Attendance Matters at Goldthorn Park Primary School
At Goldthorn Park Primary School, we place great importance on regular school attendance. Every day counts — and every lesson builds on the last.
Our goal is for all pupils to achieve an attendance rate of 96% or higher, as this gives them the best possible chance to succeed both academically and personally. Consistent attendance helps children stay on track with their learning, build strong friendships, and develop positive routines that support lifelong success.
We appreciate your continued support in helping your child attend school every day, on time, and ready to learn. Together, we can make every school day count!
