Friendship Fallout or Bullying?

Role Play in Nursery!
We had a fabulous time taking part in our ‘pop up role play visit’. We explored in the dinosaur area, posted parcels at the post office, practiced different hair styles on dolls, became vets for the day, put out fires at the fire station and looked after each other at the doctors. It was such a lovely experience for the children, and we really hope that they enjoyed it.

Red Nose Day 2026
What a fantastic Red Nose Day we had! The whole school was buzzing with laughter, colour, and pure, joyful silliness. Children (and plenty of adults!) arrived dressed in all sorts of brilliant outfits — from bright red clothes to wild hair, wacky socks, and even full-on silly costumes. Inspiring Futures: Our First Careers Fair!
Goldthorn Park hosted our first ever Career’s Fair for our Year 5 and 6 children. We had guests who represented different jobs and careers in school, to help our children understand how school skills connect to real life and to build curiosity and confidence about their future. Special Duckling Visitors in Reception
Reception have been very excited to welcome the ducklings into their classroom. The children have loved watching them and learning about how to care for them. They have handled the ducklings very gently and shown great care and responsibility while holding them. CO Crew Visit Year 2 and Year 5

Reflexions visit Year 6
Today, the Reflexions Team visited our Year 6 children to help them prepare for their upcoming SATs. The session focussed on supporting pupils with any worries or anxieties they may be feeling. The team shared helpful advice and simple strategies to manage nerves, build confidence and reduce feelings of anxiety. Dress to Express
Children’s Mental Health Week provides an important chance to reflect on how we all look after our mental and emotional health. Throughout the week, children have taken part in activities linked to wellbeing, self-expression, and understanding what helps them feel grounded and supported. Year 1 Celebrate Mental Health Week
This year’s Mental Health Week theme is “This is My Place.” It encourages children to think about the places where they feel safe, happy, confident, and free to be themselves. It’s a lovely opportunity to explore belonging, comfort, and the things that support positive mental health. Year 1 had a wonderful time creating their own “My Place” this afternoon. The Big Sing-a-Long
As part of Children’s Mental Health Week our children took part in The Big Sing-A-Long. There is a wealth of evidence showing the positive impact that singing has on wellbeing, and we were delighted to join this uplifting event. Year One Celebrates Chinese New Year
Year one enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year and marked this special occasion with a special family assembly. We invited parents and carers to come in to school and we shared information about this celebration along with lots of singing and dancing.
