Day of Welcome in Reception!
Reception had a wonderful Day of Welcome as part of Refugee Week. The children talked about our differences and how we can help everyone feel welcome, valued and included. Sharing Stories for Refugee Week
As part of Refugee Week, our younger children enjoyed a wonderful shared reading session with our older pupils. Year 6 spent time reading their favourite stories with Year 1, Year 3 shared books with Nursery, and Reception swapped stories with Year 4 before enjoying a film together. Refugee Week - Visit to the Civic Centre
Two children attended the Refugee Week celebration at the Civic Centre, where they proudly showcased a selection of children’s work based on the theme of courage. The display included a range of thoughtful poems and creative artwork that reflected the children's understanding of courage. Live Assembly with Michael Rosen

Friendship Fallout or Bullying?

Year 6 Visitor – PCSO Shinton
Year 6 pupils recently took part in an informative talk led by PCSO Shinton, focusing on antisocial behaviour and knife crime. The session was delivered in an age-appropriate way and helped pupils understand how their choices and actions can affect themselves and others. Year 6 Remembrance Day Assembly
Our Year 6 pupils led a moving Remembrance Day assembly to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served in conflicts past and present. Through readings and reflective performances, the children shared messages of peace, gratitude, and remembrance.
