Learning About Eid
As part of our Eid assembly, both KS1 and KS2 learned about how this festival is celebrated within Muslim families locally, nationally, and globally. Year 2 Develop Artisitic Skills
After their visit to the Black Counrty Living Museum the children had a follow-up session with a member of staff from museum. During this visit, they continued their learning about foreground, midground and background. Art Adventures at the Black Country Museum!
During Year 2's visit to the Black Country Living Museum, we focused on Art and Design. The children learned how artists use the foreground, midground and background to make their pictures look interesting and full of depth. We explored the museum setting and talked about what we could see in the front, middle and back of the scene. Special Duckling Visitors in Reception
Reception have been very excited to welcome the ducklings into their classroom. The children have loved watching them and learning about how to care for them. They have handled the ducklings very gently and shown great care and responsibility while holding them. It has been a wonderful experience for the children, helping them learn about animals and how important it is to treat them with kindness and respect.

Year 1 Visit Our Local Library
Year one walked to our local library to promote our love for reading. We met the librarian and she gave us a tour of the library and shared some stories with us. We joined in with the actions and made a mask based on the 'Super Wolf' story. We can't wait to use our new library memberships to borrow books with our families! CO Crew Visit Year 2 and Year 5

Little People, Big Dreams at Grand Central!
As part of our World Book Day celebrations, a group of our Year 3 and 4 children joined lots of other schools at a fantastic event at Grand Central Station in Wolverhampton today. Year 3 Visit to Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara
What a wonderful day we had visiting the Gurdwara! The trip provided the children with a detailed and meaningful insight into Sikhism and helped them understand how a Gurdwara is run. Reflexions visit Year 6
Today, the Reflexions Team visited our Year 6 children to help them prepare for their upcoming SATs. The session focussed on supporting pupils with any worries or anxieties they may be feeling. The team shared helpful advice and simple strategies to manage nerves, build confidence and reduce feelings of anxiety. Pancake Day in EYFS!
We have had the best ever pancake day at school! We all made pancake batter together, talking about different ingredients we were using. We made eggless pancakes which the children said tasted soooooo delicious! We poured our pancake batter into the pan onto the fire. We learnt how heat can cook and change food. The children then chose their own toppings and asked for more! The children were excellent at flipping the pancakes too!

Dress to Express
Children’s Mental Health Week provides an important chance to reflect on how we all look after our mental and emotional health. Throughout the week, children have taken part in activities linked to wellbeing, self-expression, and understanding what helps them feel grounded and supported. The Big Sing-a-Long
As part of Children’s Mental Health Week our children took part in The Big Sing-A-Long. There is a wealth of evidence showing the positive impact that singing has on wellbeing, and we were delighted to join this uplifting event. Year One Celebrates Chinese New Year
Year one enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year and marked this special occasion with a special family assembly. We invited parents and carers to come in to school and we shared information about this celebration along with lots of singing and dancing. Year 6 meet Author Holly Webb
Our Year 6 pupils had a fantastic opportunity this week as they travelled to Wolverhampton Grammar School to meet the much‑loved children’s author Holly Webb. The visit was an inspiring experience for the children, who were excited to hear Holly speak about her writing journey, where her story ideas come from, and how she develops the characters that so many young readers adore. Year 3 Step Back in Time to Ancient Greece
Year 3 enjoyed an unforgettable visit from Humph Histories to deepen their understanding of Ancient Greece and bring our Athens vs Sparta topic to life. Year 5 Step Back in Time with a Roman Historian
Today, Year 5 were delighted to welcome a Roman historian- Professor McGinty’s. The children learnt about Roman clothing, culture, architecture, daily life, and even unusual foods. During the visit the children handled real artefacts from Roman times, which really brought history to life.

Land Ahoy! Year 2 Sets Sail on a Pirate Inspiration Day
Year 2 took part in a Pirates Inspiration Day for their new topic ‘Land Ahoy’, and English book ‘The Pirates Next door’. Pupils came into school dressed as pirates or in pirate colours and took part in lots of activities during the day; such as making pirate hats and learning to draw pictures of pirates. Pupils also took part in a Pirate Dance in the afternoon, in which they learn to sing a shanty, learnt a pirate dance and came up with their own using common pirate actions.
